Director of Development and Planning
Plans, organizes and directs a comprehensive program of municipal planning and economic development, incl. promotion of orderly growth of commercial and industrial resources, urban renewal & neighborhood development to assure protection and enhancement of open space, to facilitate the retention & expansion of existing business interests and to seek out new compatible businesses for relocation to the Town. Prepares grant applications and department budget.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin. or a related field & four years of increasingly responsible experience in community affairs, urban planning, or municipal development. Academic background or training in the area of economic development is preferred. Salary Range is $61,133 - $79,961 with benefits.
