CEDAS Annual Meeting Committee


The Annual Meeting Committee is in charge of making arrangements for the CEDAS Annual Meeting, which is held each year in December. For several years now, the CEDAS Annual Meeting has been held in conjunction with the NEDA/CEDAS Holiday Networking event which follows the Annual Meeting. Because of this, the Committee is made up of members of both organizations.

At the CEDAS Annual Meeting, members will review the accomplishments of the organization, elect officers and Board members for the year and present awards to deserving professionals in the field of economic development. The NEDA/CEDAS Holiday Networking event which follows gives our members the chance to mingle with professionals from other Connecticut cities and towns.

The Annual Meeting Committee begins its planning in the late summer of each year and prepares a budget, checks out venues for the event, chooses a menu, arranges for the awards, prepares the invitations. The Committee works closely with CERC on registration. It is a fun committee chaired by David Prendergast. If you would like to join this committee, please contact Dave at 203-723-4411.
