Sixth Annual SBDC Day
3/15/20239:00AM – 12:00PM
North Lobby of the State Capitol Building
Once again, we are celebrating Connecticut small businesses and entrepreneurs on the 6th Annual SBDC Day on March 15, 2023. The day is a national, collective proclamation of the success and impact America's Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) have in our communities and in our state. SBDCs are funded by the US Small Business Administration. In Connecticut the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development provides matching funding and the UConn hosts the Center.
SBDC Connecticut is hosting a reception from 9:00 am -12:00 pm at the North Lobby of the State Capitol building. SBDC Connecticut is inviting elected officials, Connecticut Small Business Development Center clients, stakeholders, and the general public to this event. SBDC Connecticut will feature 10 impressive and diverse Connecticut small businesses from all around our state. These hard-working entrepreneurs represent just a few of the 3,330 business owners assisted in 2022.
Joining us will be Legislative Leaders, Connecticut DECD Commissioner Alexandra Daum, SBA District Director Catherine Marx, and folks from other organizations and government agencies that work to support Connecticut small businesses.
