Authentic, Historic & Filled with Potential

With a commercial history in silver design and production, to its current high tech industry, Wallingford is  home to over 2,200 businesses and 45,000 residents. The Town of Wallingford owns its electric, water and sewer utilities, providing affordable rates.

Wallingford is proud of its excellent public educational system  as well as Choate Rosemary Hall, an internationally known private prep school. Self-described as "a great New England town" , Wallingford invites us to explore the history and potential of its  downtown - listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • 4:00 pm - Gathering & Overview at HUBCAP
HUBCAP Wallingford is a downtown co-working space that provides authentic learning experiences and opportunities for collaboration between school, business, and community.
  • 5:00 pm - Guided Walking Tour of Wallingford Center
From HUBCAP to the new Wallingford Hartford Line Train Station & surrounding TOD Opportunity Area, back to Uptown.
  • 6:00 pm - Reception at The Library Wine Bar & Bistro
A symbol of historic restoration and adaptive reuse, this 1899 landmark building is the former town library. Lovingly restored by the Gouveia Family, of Gouveia Vineyards in Wallingford, this gem is now a fine restaurant in the heart of Uptown Wallingford.
