Who We Are
CEDAS Mission
The Connecticut Economic Development Association, CEDAS, is a not-for-profit membership organization committed to advancing the practice and process of economic development in Connecticut.
CEDAS members include:
- Municipal economic development professionals, practitioners and local economic development commissioners
- State economic development professionals
- Regional economic development practitioners
- Private sector businesses related to the field
- Educators from colleges and universities
CEDAS is dedicated to:
- Providing a forum for the economic development community
- Sponsoring economic development educational programs and seminars
- Facilitating communication and coordination among the Connecticut Economic Resource Center and CEDAS members
- Stimulating networking and the exchange of information among economic development professionals, commissions, organizations, business and other interested individuals
- Fostering sustainable economic growth in Connecticut
- Proposing and supporting legislation necessary to improve the Connecticut economy
